I've been working for my mom, Lisa, here at Mona Moore for a few months and I wanted to finally dedicate a playlist to her! This month I've been racking my brain trying to remember all the songs that my parents used to play when I was growing up in the 90's. There were too many songs to choose from, so this mix is just dedicated to my mom. Stay tuned for next month's playlist in honor of my disco-and-Brazilian-music-loving dad.
This playlist is really trip-hop heavy, from Portishead, Sneaker Pimps and Tricky. But Lisa is also a grunge and 90's rock freak so I had to throw in a little Pavement. And Lucinda Williams always brings out the country in her.
Making this playlist has really flooded me with sweet nostalgia. Love you, mommy!
